  • 12 raw prawns (however many you like)
  • 1 serving of pasta (Linguine is the preferred choice)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for topping
  • 1/8 teaspoon of dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A sprinkle of thick flour
  • Cajun seasoning to taste
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • White wine (optional)
  • Olive oil (amount not specified)

  1. Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat and add the butter, a spray of olive oil, and a splash of white wine. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Add the chopped garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Add the raw prawns to the pan and generously season with Cajun seasoning to your liking.
  4. Once the prawns are pink on one side, flip and cook for another minute before removing them from the pan, leaving the liquid behind.
  5. Add the heavy cream, dried basil, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the pan.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil and thicken the sauce by whisking in a sprinkle of flour.
  7. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cooked prawns back to the pan.
  8. Stir the prawns to coat them in the sauce.
  9. Serve the prawns and sauce over a serving of Linguine pasta, topped with grated Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
